A phrase generally associated with police and crime drama. Along with such other soundbytes and acronyms it makes for credible sounding police jargon.

In the real world, it is in the interests of the police or 'organisations with police like powers' to have as many 'POINTs' as possible. This justifies handlers and surveillance which in turn helps pay for new kitchens and shopping trips to Dubai.

It's important that these kitchens and shopping trips are made available to the employees of such hard working organisations because they are 'modern professionals'. The vast amount of the so called 'work' that these organisations undertake can be accurately described as inhabiting an arena of highly dysfunctional perception management strategies.

There are nine strategies for perception management. These include:

1. Preparation – Having clear goals and knowing the ideal position you want people to hold.

2. Credibility – Make sure all of your information is consistent, often using prejudices or expectations to increase credibility.

3. Multichannel support – Have multiple arguments and fabricated facts to reinforce your information.

4. Centralized control – Employing entities such as propaganda ministries or bureaus.

5. Security – The nature of the deception campaign is known by few.

6. Flexibility – The deception campaign adapts and changes over time as needs change.

7. Coordination – The organization or propaganda ministry is organized in a hierarchical pattern in order to maintain consistent and synchronized distribution of information.

8. Concealment – Contradicting information is destroyed.

9. Untruthful statements – Fabricate the truth.

Have you seen this man?

The above photofit of a 'POINT' represents an individual implicated in a serious and most probably fatal assault. The victim of the serious assault is a one Mr Michael Anthony Robinson, formerly of Hackney, London. The circumstances surrounding the incident extend to a highly unsavory homosexual encounter in the toilets of a Wetherspoons or even lesser licensed premises. The intelligence implicating the man depicted above, was forwarded to the author without chronological context. Therefore it could happen tomorrow or ten years from now. It's impossible to know. What is known, is that for the past two decades Michael Anthony Robinson has been engaging in clandestine operations of a highly dubious nature within the field of gender dysfunctional perception management. Much of these operations have extended to attempting to con other members of the clandestine community into making purchases based on an entirely fraudulent premise. It is therefore not surprising that he meets his end drowning in an overflowing urinal. Readers may recall the incident known as the 'hold-all murder' where a Gareth Williams (a known homosexual MI6 operative) was found locked inside a Red hold-all in a bath, in a property in south London. While there is no direct intelligence to link Michael Anthony Robinson to the 'hold-all murder' it wouldn't be a massive leap of imagination to associate the two events with the activity of a highly incompetent and clearly quite badly mind controlled member of the UK's equivalent of 'The Freedom Train'.

Yours is not to question why

With increasing frequency, the media features news which reports on the violence experienced up and down the country. Most find the details appalling but in the same way as the fascination shown by motorway crash rubberneckers, many are compelled to read all about it. As with so many emotionally charged items of news content, there is a sophisticated chain of events which lead to the vicarious armchair viewer having their senses assaulted. This month's Persons of Interest feature takes a retrospective look at some of the failures in actionable intelligence which facilitated the murder spree of Dale Cregan.

When a long standing family feud turns into a frenzied attack in a paddock.

This month's Person of Interest profile is shared between Justin Robertson and Benjamin Carr. Both were sentenced to life imprisonment following the death of Pennie Davis in 2014. After an extensive and protracted trial, two women involved with the men were acquitted. All four had been remanded and faced charges of conspiracy to commit murder. The details that emerged during the trial indicate that a prolonged and volatile environment of animosity had escalated to killing. By way of analysis of actionable intelligence, we examine the surveillance oversights that may have occurred.

In line with the previous articles covering considerable lapses in actionable intelligence, we examine the June 2023 attacks in Nottingham. As with many of the subjects of such analysis, the perpetrator appears to have no motivation behind the seemingly random attacks. A pattern of idiosyncrasies ties in to a disturbing trend being seen in recent years.

Triggers, incentives and Terror Targets

When a high profile 'terror' attack takes place, the response of the authorities provides insight into potential contributory factors. With major investment in surveillance, the possibility exists that some of these attacks could have been avoided. The uncomfortable reality of LIHOP and MIHOP come to the fore as we examine the Finsbury Park Mosque attack.

When the worlds of reality television and psychosis merge, the results create yet more highly anomalous events. What motivates two sisters from Sweden to throw themselves into oncoming traffic on the M6. Is it purely an ardent attempt to avoid being detained by police? The official narrative claims some form of temporary insanity, but many of the details correlate with those seen in the cases of other 'persons of interest'.

Countess Selkirk was none too happy with events, although she conceded that, considering the circumstances, everyone “really behaved very civilly”. Describing the visit as “by no means desirable”, she is unimpressed with the “vile blackguard look” of Cullam and categorises Jones as somebody who “deserved the gallows oftener than once”.

Failures in actionable intelligence and the shortcomings of the PNC database

There's absolutely no doubt that this Laidi Benomor SNAFU reeks of some major mismanagement. The changing of his name and the illusion of him being Iraqi is very suspicious. This story was distinctively unusual when it emerged in the news. In fact, it stuck out like a naked man with his hair on fire. Men in suits generally do not go on unarmed rampages in West London at 4:30 AM. If they did, I imagine that the authorities would be compelled to do something about it by way of prevention. Perhaps making everyone wear tracksuits or primary coloured overalls or something.

"However, the SAS-style outfits and equipment, the dog squads, the armoured Land Rovers, the helicopter hovering overhead and the lights trained on the house failed to intimidate Hall, or even persuade him not to fire at police."
