Flu

An abbreviation of influenza, Flu is an infection of the bronchial pathways and other parts the respiratory system such as ear, nose and throat. The illness is caused by a virus. Influenza is different from the viruses that cause diarrhea and vomiting which are also referred to as 'flu' or stomach 'flu'. Most people with the flu do not require medication to recover.

Throughout much of the 19th and 20th centuries, the medical profession have sought to develop a cure for colds and the flu. In the latter part of the 20th century, vaccination against Influenza became popular by exposing subjects to a mutated form of the virus from samples obtained on the other side of the planet. How successful this method has been is the subject of much debate. There are many critics of medical opinion who state categorically that the entire science of virus epidemiology is grossly inaccurate. Studies into infection vectors have failed to ever cause direct infections from patient to patient in a controlled environment. Consequently critics have a substantial platform from which to call 'quackery' on the entirety of contemporary virology and epidemiology.

One thing we can be quite sure of, is that the heinously corrupt cult of Caduceus are absolutely consistent in their efforts to use the common cold and the flu virus as highly profitable industries. Over the counter products for the treatment of these illnesses account for billions of dollars per year. In addition, the targeting of so called 'vulnerable' individuals as 'immunity compromised' guarantees a predictable interaction between the medical authorities and the population. 

The early 21st Century has seen a concerted shift from controlling the population via the Military Industrial Complex, to controlling the population via the Medical Industrial Complex.  Both of which are represented by extremist and fundamentalist groups in society. As with so much of history, when the interests of fundamentalists converge there exists profound danger for the human race. Especially when these seemingly disconnected groups are all being controlled by somebody else.
